Both have great "undiscovered" songs. Hollies: Too Many People; Hard hard year; Maker; Butterfly; It's in everyone of us; etc.
Searchers: Till I met you; World is waiting for tomorrow (which would be a great song for a bob Geldorf type charity money raiser); Lovers will walk; etc.

For me the query would ought to be what's your favorite UK group from the period of the British Invasion rather then the Stones? The Hollies!
They have far more hits than people realise, and their other stuff is good too.
The Searchers are good as well but I feel like they got more publicity for something that was equally as good as The Hollies.
