The question Boils down to
SLI vs NON SLI
From the knowledge I have and the research I have done, 1 GREAT card is better than 2 Good Cards
The 8800 GTX 768 Card is HIGHLY praised I often hear people calling it future proof as the current games being sold do not unleash its full potentional
-- Cheers!! -- Mike
P.S. Nice System, For your Hard drive have you thought about using a Raptor 10k Drive for your operating system and programs then a second Hard drive for files or 2 160GB sata drives in Raid 0 ?

properly the GTX is an severe gaming card. you will fly via all your video games and that they might have incredible readability. you will easily no longer be upset. besides the undeniable fact that, the GTS is a in a position card which will additionally furnish astonishing outcomes, yet no longer on the point of the its vast brother the GTX. it definitely relies upon on your funds. i might say in case you have the money than get the GTX yet submit to in suggestions in case you go with for to SLI interior the destiny you will could spend that plenty greater to get yet another GTX. yet one GTX is magnificent and one GTS is likewise way above par.

i suggest a GeForce 8800GT 512 instead, this card can pwn the GeForce 8800GTS 320/640 without any difficulty, and is much cheaper than the latter, costing USD200+
or if u ve the money to spare get GeForce 8800GTS 512 (read: not 320 or 640), this one performas close to a 8800GTX, and outperforms it marginally in some areas (eg without AA and AF), but this cost USD250+

Get the single card.
Then later you can add in another of the same type to boost performance for a lower price. No point in crippling your system from the start.
You don't need more than that one card at the moment.

Get one 8800GTX
320MB GTS is heavily bottleneck by its 320MB (its 640MB version performs much better)
When you SLi, textures are duplicated in both graphic card, so you do NOT get the effect of 2 x 320MB vram. Effectively, you still have 320MB only, and that's very little.

i would go with 8800 GTX 768mb........thats enough to run the games ya want........when prices drop ya can add another if ya want..........but jmho sli is overrated.......it looks good in benches, but in real gaming the performance gain is minimal......nothing worth writing home about........beside the 9000' s are gonna be out soon..........move up to one of them if ya dont go sli..........good luck.........looks like a nice rig your building there.........
