Absolutely not!
You want to do more than just float the bag, then net the fish, though. Adding small amounts of your tank water to the bag (after you pour about half down the drain) lets the fish adjust gradually to any differences in pH and water chemistry.

Would never do that. If you do you are taking a chance on introducing unknown disease or parasites into you main tank.
I open the bags and float them in the tank to adjust for temperature. Then I pour out a small portion of the water in the bag into a bucket and then add tank water to the bag. I keep doing this until most of the water in the bag is from the tank. I then get my net and slowly pour the water from the bag through the net and capture the fish. It is then added to the main tank.

Put the plastic bag inside of the tank for a half hour so that the fish get acclimated to the temperature of your tank. I would not put the water from the bag into the tank. Sometimes, but not always, the fish store water might have parasites or disease that you don't want to introduce into your tank. Just use your net to place the fish into you tank from the bag.

I dont think so... you never know what is in the water. The water may be dirty from the other fish that shared the tank with your new fish. Its best to use your own water and also use a filter system.

i never put store water in my tanks,i usually put the bag in the tank to let them get used to the temp ,then i strain that water through a net over the sink .also when you look for fish to buy, don't just look at the one your interested in ,look at them all. look for fin rot, lesions, cloudy eyes, they should look active, not lethargic.
