i believe the fries. if we are talking fast food style. the salt and the deep frying cause havoc on your digestive system. the hamburger has many nutrients as well as being much easier to digest. if your a vegatarian, it becomes a moral question. not a health question. so then it may be the hamburger. but if you are asling from the biological , its the fries. mcdonalds sells their fries for a buck. they use about half a potato which they pay a penny for . deep fry it. thats a hell of a profit. they do the dame on the syrup for pop. a pennys worth for a buck. the hamburger is about cost. so you could say mcdonalds and burger joints in general are soda and fry stores. lol but your cholestoral is going thru the roof on the fries and pop. so eat the hamburger and get a water. or milk. its cheaper and better for you. start a trend. if everyone did, mcd and burger king and wendys would go out of business and mom and pop restauranbts would go up and so would the economy. theres a cool way to do the world some good. and yourself.

the burger; it's got way more cals than the fries. even though the fries are deep fried, the burger still has the codoments and salt on the patty and not to mention the carb of the bun!

Depends on the brand.

If you're talking about McDonald's burger and fries, it would be the fries which is worse.

Both has preservatives but the burger will ror in a matter of 2 weeks as for the fries? well, it will last for more thantwo weeks, even a month i guess.

For more info about that, better watch the documentary film about it. I forgot the title but it has the word "fat" in the title.

not enuf info. how big is the burger? how many fries? if you mean sort of equal amounts, i believe the fries are the worst. hoever, if the fries are cooked in canola and the burger has a 30% fat content, then maybe the burger will get you. i need more info for a final answer.

Depends on how big the burger is...does it have cheese? If it's a small hamburger, the fries are probably worse.

definately fries! my ex boss was obsessed with loosing weight and read all these books. to this day he wont touch fries. they are deep fried so no matter how you cook em they are fattening. However whataburger or burger king, a company that maybe flame broils their burgers are pretty healthy actually. They drain out all the fat. Burgers give you more options to cook them.
