I give christmas cards to people that I don't know that well. Because usually it starts out as you don't really know someone and then a little thought of kindness turns into a lasting friendship.

Well yes, if you see each other most of the time, it's not like you have to write an essay on the card

Yea, sure. It shows they were thinking about you. Most Christmas cards only have a small amount of writing on them anyway...

The fact that they went out of their way to think of me and give me the card is all that matters. What do you expect in it....
like 20 Grand?????

I would be honored and humbled that they made the first move towards a friendship. Take it in the spirit of the season, and know that you have another smile in your day

Pleased! It's nice to be thought of.
I might have a tinge of guilt for only having thought of them at that moment!

I would love it. It shows they are thinking about me. I do not like the cards that are not personally signed though. They are so impersonal.
