Lolly: I have a cast-iron stomach. There aren't too many foods I don't like. I've dated several dancers and they always insisted I have cottage cheese on hand when they visited. So, I did, but I usually hid it in the back of the fridge. lol

Good answers all. It would be unfair of me to choose a 'best'...since I can't stand, sit or lie to eat the stuff.
Thanks to all responders.

It is quite easy, though not customary. Just stand up and spoon the stuff down the old neck! Personally, I like to sit when I eat.
mmmmm lumpy, bumpy cottage cheese.
For some folks, a mixture of fried pork liver and cottage cheese makes for an effective emetic!

You know, growing up I would look at cottage cheese and I'd throw up in my mouth a little. ha. But now that I've gotten older and health is more important to me, I tried it again and loved it. With fruit, it's delicious. The texture still weirds me out a bit, but it's a lot better than I thought it was.

It's cool, creamy and has an amazing texture. If you have the courage to try it again, try the large curd. It has the highest fat content of all cottage cheeses and tastes much better than the rest. Go ahead, try it. You'll like it.

I think it's alright. I've eaten it since I was little so I guess I'm used to it. I don't eat it often though.
It doesn't taste bad. I guess people are just kinda grossed out about it?? Which is dumb because it makes a lot more sense to be grossed out by hamburgers/hot dogs than cottage cheese!

Everyone's preference of taste differs from one person to the next, but the main reason people like certain foods is because they grew up on them.

Italians put it on pasta as "ricotta" cheese. It can really taste good- just another type of cheese on pasta.
