I'm almost 50 with a 10 year old daughter, a 30 year old daughter and two grandsons ages 10 and 8. My oldest daughter and I had babies 2 months apart.
So my daughter has a nephew 2 months older than her. It's funny to hear my grandson call my daughter Aunt. . Plus when I told my daughter I was pregnant as well, she got real quiet for a minute and then said " Gross!"-lol.

I adore having my 10 yr old- she keeps me thinking young, going to kids movies, playing on playgrounds, slumber parties- wouldn't trade it, I get to share my second childhood with my own child- ha ha!.

I'm 58, my son is 28 with a 2 year old daughter, and my daughter is 31 with no kids. I thought I was an older mum at the time, but these days many girls wait until their 30's before they even think about it.
Funny how people react to the "older pregnancy" announcement ! Its like, eewww ! You are still having sex?
I remember when my mother-in-law announced her pregnancy at age 46, this was her 9th child and the others were all in their 20's and late teens. Many of them were quite horrified to think that Mum and Dad had been "doing it"!!
That "baby" is now in her 30's , and she and I are great friends. With her own mum now passed away, I'm very close to her, and have been with her when she had her own children. The cycle of life turns, and isn't it all a miracle :-)

I'm 63 and have a 41 year old daughter, a 39 year old son, and a 5 year old daughter (adopted), so I'm definitely an older parent. LOL
My grand kids are 19, 13, 6, and 3.
My 6 year old grandson and, 3 year old granddaughter refer to my 5 year old daughter as their "cousin" and visa versa, even though she's really their aunt. They're a bit to young to understand too much about relationships.

I have two daughters and three granddaughters.
My daughters are 32 and 34.
The younger one is not maternal in the slightest, her baby
is her new BMW Z4.
The older one has a 14year old and an 11year old. She is on her second relationship and her youngest daughter is 9months. She is the icing on the cake and wonderful.
She thinks she has 3mothers as her two elder sisters adore
her and share the bathing, changing etc.
The 14year old thought it was embarassing when her mum
told her she was pregnant, but is now asking mum if she is
going to have any more. The answer is a definite NO!!!

I'm 63, and the luckiest of all because I'm still young enough and healthy enough to enjoy my 2 great grand children ages 1 & 3, I do have to admit that the 1 year old wears me out, but think God for him. My mom who is 79 thinks being a double great granny is the best thing since sliced bread.
That's 5 living generations
