Of-course cutting a tree is a very habit but once it is distrubing others and damaging building it is supposed to be removed.

You better check with your Municipality office first as there may be some laws about removing trees and you could get sued if this is the case. You really need a professional to remove the tree if you are allowed to do so.

I am wondering how a tree is disturbing "others" and road users and buildings. Fixation on a tree is one for Freud. I hope this menace is on your property that you own or is not protected before you dole out the justice that it so deserves.

pay a pro to do it. if it's an exotic, like black walnut, have the person cut it in 1 1/2 to 2 foot sections, coat the end with wax and sell them to an exotic wood dealer or a wood turner.

more like the buildings and roadway are disturbing the tree!!! dont destroy it....its not nice to fool with mother nature...unless you want some real bad juu juu commin your way i would let the tree live ....we need more trees

Doing it yourself could be a disaster.
