She wanted to leave G.H. because she wanted to try her hand at prime time and films. But - guza Jr. said if she ever wanted to come back the door will be open for her. And they had a way of bring Emily back. And the mum is the word on how and when they would ever bring her back. Plus - Natalia didn't want anyone else to play Emily - so the producers and the writers decided to kill her off, But - she is still under contract until may of 2008. She will be playing a figment of Nichol's conscious.

I think you mean "leave" Like many young soap stars Natalia thinks that she is talented enough to have a larger career (ie movies or prime time) Many stars have started on soaps : Demi Moore and Anne Heche, Kesley Grammar, Alex Baldwin and others. However the cold hard truth is that most soap stars should be thankful they have the job they have and stay with it. Natalia is one of those, she is a fine Emily, a minor though pivotal character on GH but she does not have the chops to compete in the larger Hollywood world.

She doesn't actually leave until May 08. She wants to try and pursue some other avenues. I really Liked her and am bummed that they're wiping her character out.

I believe it's the usual reason- she wants to try for primetime or movies- that is where fame and fortune is
- (not to mention professional respect- most of the entertainment industry looks Down on daytime soaps)

She wanted to persue prime time tv projects. She was ready for a change. I miss her and hope one day she decides to return.

I'm sure she's off to bigger & better things. However she is just an o.k. actress, so Im sure she will be back on soaps soon.

i don't know but it's caused alot of p-offed people.....
me included, as I got caught up in the drama of Emily's
death, I got so angry that we lost her character, but to
be honest with ya',........several wks. out of the death and
I'm not dwellin' on it much anymore.....prob. not until they
show Nick's drama again......
but I really don't know why NL left GH......
