I love wearing eyeliner, i have this really cheap eyeliner from wet n wild but it works fine. Just one problem, i put it on, open my eyelid and, i have a black shadow in the crease of my eyelid, it looks horrible making me look in the mirror every two seconds. Ive tried putting on concealer to the lid and a powder but i dont know what would help the eye liner stay at the rim of my eye. Please help you guys, this is driving me nuts. Thanks so much in advance. Muahs, you guys are da bombbbbbb!!!

Good luck with it... I personally am on the quest for the perfect eyeliner and I haven't found it yet!

Some of the cheaper ones tend to do that; you end up with a little smear because the eyeliner transfers from the edge of your eyelid to the skin above. There really isn't anything you can do with that eyeliner; it's always going to do that. Trying a different brand will help. Some of the CoverGirl ones do that too, I can tell you that from experience!

Try a different eyeliner. I'm guessing a water-based eyeliner might work for you. You know how water and oil don't mix? Your skin has oil on it, so if you use a water-based eyeliner the oil won't dissolve it and move it. Wet and Wild is cheap because it isn't very well-made. An investment in a slightly better eyeliner might leave you a lot happier.

Try a liquid eye liner, just make sure you dont open your eyes before they dry (usually about 30 seconds) Once it is dry it wont smudge or anything at all. I always wear eyeshadow (or if you dont want it to look like you are wearing any just use a skin coloured powder) which seems to stop that as well.

make sure u are really at the tim of the eye. this happens to me so i just use a BLACK eyeshadow and apply it with an angle brush. the black eyeshadow wont do that because unlike eyeliner, it doesnt stay in 1 line, but it doesnt smudge. its very gentle!!.
I looked in a lot of magazines and thats the way they apply eyeliner now.
its just a matter of how precise u r in putting ur eyeliner on.
i can understand....its really annoying.
so take my advice and try it because u never know how its gna turn out...!
hope i helped u!
good luck.

The only thing I can think of right now is to try a new eye liner brand...some pencils smudge easier than others. I find liquid eyeliners stay well, less smudging. A harder pencil seems to smudge less than the really soft ones.

I would try a water proof eyeliner, like the one I use by maybelline. it's doesn't flake, it doesn't drip, and it doesn't leave where ever I line it =) it's only around 4 or 5 dollars at Target =)

smashbox waterproof jet set eyeliner...it's awesome! i had the same problem you had and tried a bunch of different brands...this is the only one that once i put it on...it's not going anywhere until i take it off! so it saves me time by only having to apply it once!
