ok, i am 14 years old. i have hair down at my vagina area, i have small mounded breasts ( about 34 a -ish?) no under arm har yet. major sweating (bad smell from underarms. i also have this whiteish discharge coming from my vagina alot! i know everyone is different but i was wondering if anyone knows how close i am to my period. :]]

The whiteish discharge is perfectly normal (unless it's thick and clumpy like cottage cheese and/or you're painful or itchy) and periods often start after about a year of having this discharge.
Your mom is a good person to ask, but keep in mind there are always exceptions- my mom was 10- I was 14 and my sister was 15!

Its not an exact science honey! Have you asked your Mom when she started? Thats a more reliable way of knowing really - although I would guess (GUESS mind you) that you will start during the next 12 months. Good luck.

trust me u don't want your period! so enjoy life (before your period) ! It will come when it comes. i got mine so early at 11 1/2 crzy huh? your period will come when ur body thinks it's mature enough! but u can still keep in touch with me whenever! just check out my profile! i will also be there to talk with u ! *hugz*! Probably soon...but the discharge should be checked out...could be a yeast infection...just ask your mom to see a doctor, they're common and easily cured.

oh i'm not sure, but you sound quite close to it. it shouldn't be too long. why not ask your mom when she started? altho it is not very accurate but it is usually easier fo r you to predict.but for me it is not at all accurate. my mom started at 11, my sis at 12 me at 13.....
