I'm 19, but short with braces gaaaahh! so therefore i do not look 19. this is a dilemma. i'm going out tonight and i don't want to have to deal with those "honey you look so young" conversations. they're such a downer.
and please don't tell me that i'll love looking young when i'm older. I don't care, do you know how embarrassing it is to be the only one of your friends that get asked for ID?
anyway, got any tips?

to make it difficult i have to go to a fluoro party (lame) you can't wear flouro without look 12 lol.

a fluoro party is when you dress in bright fluoro colours. i bought glow sticks lol. that's about as fluoro as you get me

There's nothing wrong with that. It can be cute. I know a girl who got hers removed at 25. You'll have such a beautiful smile after.
Anyways, wear adult clothes. Get something that shows a little cleavage. 'Bubble gum' colored eye shadows will make you look young, so try a dark smokey eye, maybe get a thick black eyeliner (fake lashes, seriously, you can't help but feel sexy with long lashes). Dress more sophisticated. Invest in some classy bar outfits, like think sequined tops (not hot pink), go for jewel tones (teal, deep purple, navy, burgandy, charcoal). Also, go for a nice pair of heels - and learn to walk in them...no one will ask your age.
You might want to get a sophisticated hair cut. Seriously, no one will ask your age if you look sophisticated, well groomed and classy...
I've always been the young one out of my friends...so I had to learn how to look old.

I can understand where you are coming from. I am 24 but everyone assumes I am not even 16. Its a pain in the butt now, but remember once we get older it will be benifical. I find that people tend to think I am older when my hair is down (pony tails are associated with youth and really can make you look younger) with eyeliner and a polished look. If you show up some place where they ask for ID in a parka with sneakers and your hair pulled into a pony tail- yep, they WILL ID you. Hair down, eyeliner, heels and tailored clothes with a well fitted trench coat make you look older.

Well I don't really know what your saying so if you want to look older try this. Were make-up, were high heels, were top class fashion clothes, and eat healthy. And if you want to look younger, use aging cream, don't apply make-up as much, and were sportish clothes, were tennis shoes but only short heels too and that's my advice for you girl so GOOD LUCK!

One thing that helps is to wear makeup. Makeup makes women look more mature. That's one of the tricks makeup artists use to make teenage models look more like young women.

extra makeup, nicely applied, and posh hair, nice taylored clothes.
that could make you look 10 years older. putting on slutty clothes will just make you look like youre a young chick trying to dress slutty to look older. which is not what youre going for, really.
