Well, one thing could be to gather up all the FOR SALE and garage sale signs from the nieghborhood, and set them up on the persons lawn.
BUT, this of course punishes the people who owned the signs in the first place too.
Buy a bunch of stupid food, and sticky notes!, and put then them all over someone's car. Once covered, get saran wrap and wrap it all up. It'll take forever to get it off. (And it'll take you more than one person and quiet and darkness!)

Ignore the idiots who suggest using eggs! Eggs will cause expensive damage that YOU will have to pay for when you're caught.
Shaving cream or soaping windows is relatively safe but stay away from eggs or any food for that matter. Many foods can damage the paint and other parts of the home. If you damage someone's home that way, you can also be prosecuted for vandalism on top of paying for the repairs.

I threw an egg on my neighbors house when I was about 11 or 12. I'm 18 now and it's still there. Hahaha!
