I think it is wrong to do to another human being what you would not want done to yourself. The Nazis experimented on live humans "for the good of mankind" and these experiments were beyond creepy. Go to this web-page:

It's a DRAWING! It's a cartoon? This is a pretty poor example of your message.

If people actually felt so strongly about FICTIONAL malevolence, the such classics as Mary Shelly's "Frankenstein" would have never been written. Neither would "Watership Down," Robin Cook's "Coma" or many other works of fantasy, mystery and science fiction.

Relax, a bit on fictional depictions. I mean, the guy in the tube may not be the subject of human testing. For all we know, he may be a long term space traveller, in a form of suspended animation.

Even in real life, one can carry your objections too far. Wouldn't you have to agree that sending a manned mission to the moon was a form of VOLUNTARY human experimentation? The entire, manned space program was to "test" if human beings CAN survive in a hostile environment. Same goes with undersea habitats.

Where would YOU draw the line on what kinds of human experiments are acceptable? How would we know that insulin injections would actually HELP diabetics? That pig heart valves could extend human life?

Think about it and RELAX!

Confusing drawings with real life again, aren't we?

You can draw a picture of ANYTHING, it doesn't make it specifically real as to an individual, or even to scientific research.

Our local community paper usually has two ads a month asking for volunteers (they're paid). Anything from nicotine studies of the brain to cocaine addiction affecting body organs---I volunteered for one, got a chance to get $25 and an MRI image of my brain in action -- I was one of the 'control' group that had to be in the MRI machine doing addition and subtraction in my head (prompted by numbers on a screen) to activate my thinking areas. They compared mine with results from people who were known addicts, to see which areas of the brain were firing up with logic circuits.

It was totally safe, I contributed to the hospital study data, and was pretty cool to take part in. There are ALL sorts of studies being done, you're made aware of any dangers before you even begin them.

Human are selfish being. They don't care if someone experiment with other living creatures, but when it comes to their own being it's thought to be nasty/disgusting/ect. >.> Though I would have to say it would be a crime, but if the person died in a natural way,and they have the right to experiment with him then I'm sure it's fine. It's not like they're going to show it in public or something..

i did no longer think of that Carlise wasn't conscious that she ought to get pregnant. i assumed that he purely did no longer warn them by fact he particularly wasn't watching for them to consummate their relationship till after Bella were grew to become. the difficulty approximately her toddler weight...in view that they're all suitable, i might assume that their bodies could be suitable too. Imprinting, it develop into purely going to be 6-7 years till Renesme could be complete grown. i assume at that factor she and Jake might see one yet another thoroughly diverse. I nonetheless it ended great. i'm happy they have been given the kin, the abode, the vehicle and the canine. in view that after a quick 6-7 years their lady new child could be all grown up and married to a shape shifter, it would purely be Bella and Edward back.
