legally speaking 18 years ,otherwise it is something very subjective .men should be economically settled and sound ,ready to support a family, and women should be mentally ready too for a relationship.if we r talknig about women anytime after 18 and for men late twenties is good . getting married means accepting a whole big new responsiblity,so what ever the age is, the person should be mature and capable of carrying such a great responsibility ! watever the age 18 or 28 just have to mentally prepared for such a big change in ones life!

You don;t have to ask your question 5 times in 60 seconds. To answer how old someone has to be to get married, we'd have to know where they are getting married. Each state has different rules. And since the world wide web is "world wide", this question could be answered in 24 time zones in a zillion countries. Call your local town hall and ask them!

It depends on where you live and the circumstances. Type in legal age of consent. On that page there will be the teenage marriage laws listed by state in alphabetical order.

18 without parental consent, I think in some states you can be 14 without parental consent, (ugh!) It all depends on the state!
