so far they have not a clue, a friend of mind who is somekind of science and flight brain says the craft just disintegrated...i say hogwash, nothing a person can fly in can breakup that thoroughly. it and he must be somewhere (dead or alive and i really think he may have feigned his death for some reason known only to him...or it was suicide, i think he was/is just too smart and thorough with his preperations to let some accident just end him) he pushed the envelope, but he did it with smarts and preperation every time...

No, he and the wreckage of his plane haven't been found. The area where he was believed to have crashed is so rugged and remote that it could take years before anything is found. During the search, another wrecked plane was found and in it was a man who had been missing since 1964.

No. Winter storms have hit Western Nevada. So, any plane debris will be under snow pack in the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Next spring might unearth wreckage.

no....they searched for a long time but then his wife agreed with authorities and they gave up on the search....i think it is so crazy he traveled the world...crashed into the ocean multiple times.....to go missing and be presumed dead in california or nevada or utah.....or wherever he may be
