Donnie Mac: You are a liar, or you don't know what you are talking about. Romney is over 40 years old and is a High Priest. Get your facts straight.

Lex: The Mormon faith is more of a way of life. Romney is a liar when he claims his church will have no bearing on his attitude towards this country, his faith will have everything to do with every decision he makes. I am not talking outside my left ear either. He will be a dangerous leader.

Romney has had many positions in his church, including biship.

Most people can separate their religion from their jobs, even the President of the U.S. mormons, however, are not able to. Not true-believing mormons who reach the status Romney has in his church. He has vowed to do whatever the head of his church tells him to do, because he believes that a guy named Elohim tells his leader what to do/say. Romney has a "temple recommend" and is sworn to sustain and obey the church president, etc., Hinckley, who is the only one on Earth who has the direct line to God, imparts Gods current "message" and Romney must comply. So Hinckley would really be running the country? Mormon prophecy says the U.S. gov will fail, or almost fail, and they will take it over. They have literally waged war against the U.S. in the past, now they are trying to get in the same way Muslims are - from the inside.

Our country is at war now and we need a true leader to guide us through the perilous times ahead. Mitt Romney is exactly the kind of person we need to run this country. Before any of us were born, we all lived together in Heaven with Heavenly Father. Some of us rebelled and started a war with those who were faithful . This event was called "The War in Heaven". Eventually the bad guys lost and became demons . the good guys won and were born with white skin here on Earth. Those who did not fight very hard or were indifferent were born on Earth with dark skin. The bravest of the brave leaders of the Lords Army were born here on Earth with White skin to good Mormon families.
During the war, Romney must have been one of the top Commanding Generals. Just look at his awe inspiring persona and strong Mormon family. Amerika needs General Romney to help us win the war on terror and bring Salvation to the world. Vote Romney in '08.

I'm not sure, but your stating this as if you know the facts of him and his church. I have never heard of a High Priest in the Mormon Church.

I don't think Rommey is lying any ore then Kennedy did when he said he would be a President first and Catholic second. I think they are both saying the same thing. They are the President first, and a person of Faith second.

Anyone dedicated to their church/religion is responsible for living and believing the precepts of their church/religion.

Romney's beliefs will no more "ruin" the United States than Mike Huckabee's Baptist beliefs, Barack Obama's Church of Christ beliefs, Hillary Clinton's United Methodist beliefs, Guiliani's Catholic beliefs, McCain's Episcopalian beliefs, or Fred Thompson's (or his mother's) with the Church of Christ.

I want a President who is adamant about upholding the Constitution of the United States, a President who will stand for my rights as a citizen of the United States against those who are not.

He is in fact a High Priest. You have to be one to be a Bishop or Stake President. As a holder of the priesthood, he is accountable for honest dealing with his fellow man. He will lose the priesthood, if he lies. Maybe the best president needs to lie. In that case, I believe we can find a better liar than Romney.

Does the HP wear a white robe like the wizard in that movie? Will he chant and carry a smoking ball. What ahppened in Mass?

I wonder if he foulght this when he ran before, also did Obama have the "drug" stuff and Hillary the "murder and rapist" stuff? I would find that interesting.

I have friends and know folks of most religions and never had a problem, so if there is something here please tell us. I am going on what others have said here. take care.

I dont exactly see what his faith has to do with streamlining goverment, low taxes, strong values, obtaining energy independence, enforcing immigration laws, and winning the war on terror.

Im sure his faith's extreme view of honoring and sustaining the United States Constitution is really going to hurt the United States as well. Heaven forbid we actually follow the Constitution.

His faith will ruin the United States? Restoring talk about religion to this country will ruin it? Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't this country founded on the belief in God? People really don't know enough about the LDS Church to comment on the positions members hold.

I think thats a bit extreme. I'm no conservative, but this whole religion thing is out of hand. Since when has any President, Christian or other made any law or policy with regard to religion. They haven't. They can't. We still have a Congress and Supreme Court. This isn't a dictatorship. Every President has to operate within his authority or we will kick him out. Simple enough?

And Huckabee is a pastor, but I don't think that he's going to turn America into a theocracy. Romney has made it clear that his faith will affect his presidency, but his church will not, and I think that that distinction is key.
