I have wait until my medicaid goes through before I can go to the doctor so I wanted to see if I could get some input. I previously had a miscarriage alittle over a year ago....I'm 9 weeks pregnant now and have lost most of my morning sickness...and I'm getting moderate cramping and lower back pain. No bleeding or spotting of any kind though like before. Should I be worried or is this normal?

Worry won't help anything, so just stay calm. You will just have to wait and see. If you are having a miscarriage this early in your pregnancy there is not likely to be anything that can be done to stop it. Just try to think positively. I wish you the best.

Just calm down and relax and don't worry! Ok well I am about the same time as you and I have cramping too, almost to the point where it feel like period cramps. To tell you the truth with me, I think that it is gas. Now, my friend also told me that you get cramps in the beginning of your pregnancy because your stomach muscles are stretching and making room for the baby. What I do is rub my tummy and it starts to feel better, I do this pretty much all day, because I am either nauseous or have light cramps, I also get lower back pain, so i just put a pillow behind my back when I am driving or sitting or whenever. Good luck and I hope that you relax. Also, my friend gave me a pointer to make a list of questions that you want to ask you doctor on your first visit. Good luck with the pregnancy!!

First, calm down. Just breathe. This is one of those common symptoms of pregnancy that no one tells you about beforehand. Light to moderate cramping can be normal - a sign that your body is adjusting in many ways to the human you are nurturing inside your womb & for the huge job it is preparing itself for. The uterine muscle cells are growing & multiplying. Hormones are being released to tell your body to begin/stop doing things. The baby has to find a good spot to burrow into the uterus to get a grip in order for your body to be able to link with it to form a 2-way blood/nutrients vessel system; and many, many more. But remember if you stress, your baby also stresses, because those stress hormones get to the baby through your linked systems. So every chance you get, take a seat, put your feet up, & breathe. Allow your mind to be free for just a few minutes. That helps a lot; you'd be surprised! Also, drinking plenty of water helps with the cramping, b'c sometimes the cramping can be caused by dehydration. Don't drink too much green tea, regular tea, or coffee. Take your prenantal vitamins. Also, Many doctors start treating you even before your Medicaid has begun; the office can just get backpay. All you need is proof of pregnancy & the due date written down along with other needed personal info. So call them about seeing someone right away, you want to make sure the cramping isn't a sign of a larger problem. Good luck!

im 12 weeks pregnant.
and i had cramps earlier on aswell.
but they went away.
i got really worried to.
but as long as there's no bleeding you shouldnt have a problem.
i went to the emergency room because i was soo paranoid.
ahah.
but they did an ultra sound and blood work and everything was fine.
your body is just getting used to the changes.
dont worry yourself:)
best of luck!
