I've heard so many people say this. What is it about drugs that makes us think we know the great mysteries of life? Btw, I don't do drugs anymore so this question was thought out from a clear mind.

yeah, its hard to catch lightning in a bottle. you have terrific insights on life and you want to pass them down forever... but you wind up enlightening the other barely conscious people around you... c'est la vie

Listen, I'm what you probably call 'a goodie-good' mostly because I am too young to have done anything, actually, but the things about being under the influence is that that is what makes your brain open up. You are more open to possibilities, it makes you more truthful and unafraid of consequences, so you can reach parts of your thoughts that you never even thought you had, but the problem with that is the next morning (With an awful hangover, or whatever you would get with drugs) your mind is back to normal and the things you thought about, that you normally don't, slide to the back of your mind with it. It sounds cheezy but meditation always helps if you really want to go deep within yourself and find your own subconcious. Try it.

Meaning of life? Easy drunk or sober. John 3:16, Mustardseed and Daniel. What else do I need to know?

I know all too well. I'd be a millionaire if I could remember all the problems I solved while under the influence.

my brother gives great advice when he's high or drunk and then when i ask him something while he's sober he gives the worst advice ever..
example.. "what should i do today?" "write a book of stories to share great things with the world" when drunk or high "shoot something?" when sober..

Yeah, it's infuriating. I tried writing it down once - but I couldn't read my handwriting either.
