Once. I fell in love with a girl named Cathy. But she turned out to be more in love with herself than I could ever be.

If someone is stuck in a love triangle they have to get through it cause it's a tough spot to be in!

Yup & I was just talking to my bf 2nite about certain things .. it brings a lot of trust issues .. it's best to just be upfront, honest, straightforward..it's really hard to be "friends" and everybody knows that it's a triangle so instead of risking 3 hearts breaking, it's best to not rush in & be fair in sticking w/ one person.

I try to show my dog and my goldfish the same amount of attention
but when I pet the dog and ignore the fish - when I get home -
the goldfish swims near the surface and splashes water with his tail until I come over and achknowledge him

Oh GOD yes, alla time.
The worst was when I realized I liked a girl that way, she liked him best, and he liked me best... oops!
He and I remained friends for years, even dated his separated wife briefly.
Watch out for those love triangles. They always come to grief -- or at least sorrow for wasted time spent pining over someone interested in someone else...

I liked him and he liked me, but that other guy liked me too.

yes both ways. once I was the other woman, and once I had two guy after me it made me very uncomfortable. I guess I wasn't good at juggling 2 men at once
