ya great movie

I think young people will enjoy it. For an old Texas goat like my self, it is more than enjoyable, it is nostalgic. They portray the Governor of Mississippi to be Pappy Lee O'Daniel. Actually, that name belongs to a Governor of Texas. Pappy had a flour mill and a band that was called "The Light Crust Dough Boys." Louisiana also had a singing Governor, named Jimmy Davis who scored a country music classic, entitled "You are my my Sunshine." In the movie, they credit that song to Pappy. The mannerism and language of the characters captures very accurately what people in the South were like when I was young.
It is somewhat frustrating to be so careful at being accurate only to have some unknowing knee jerk give a thumbs down. Say what you think is inaccurate in your post if you're going to give a thumbs down. I grew up in a small town during that era and the facial expressions and language expressions rang very true.

Love it! if you have ever read The Odessy by Homer, you will see that it's a re-telling of it in a different time.
