How do I fix my laptop so the wireless network connects? It hasn't worked since my school modified it to work

I don't think you understand. I am home for a month. I need to access my laptop. How can I modify this?

Go control panel/internet options/right click on wireless connection and select repair. It will assign a new IP address to your comp for your home wireless network.

When you go back to school do this again.

If that don't work do a setup a new connection using the wizzard and follow the prompts.

They likely have blocked it from accessing the internet from any other source than the schools assess point. This is so they can control the websites that can be accessed.
Leave it alone.
