About time they quit stalling and funded the troops. We all knew they would give in eventually. The American press just doesn't want to give the president credit for winning another standoff with the congress. But it was a given that they would eventually do the right thing. Especially with the troop surge making progress, it would have been political suicide to deny funds to troops while they are actually winning. That would have been seen as treason. But most of the US news agencies are democrat-owned, so they don't like to show their team on the losing end of a political tussle with Bush.

It's no longer news, because the majority of news media except FOX is Left Liberal media. They don't keep reminding you that their political Democratic party lied to America in order to gain the Senate and the House of Representatives. This just shows Democrats don't know what to do and don't have answers to any issues.

Because the American news media is ticked the people they worked so hard to get into office last year have done diddly. And not held any of their campaign promises. So now they won't report on them. This isn't political, it's just the truth.
