Is it just me, or are you so NOT ready to see Johnny Depp in a musical?!!! I'm afraid it'll ruin the whole "sexy and mysterious" thing that I've clung to for so long.

I'm actually looking forward to it.
Depp has continued to surprise me with his performance in roles. I didn't think he could pull off "The Libertine" considering the aging process on the character, but he did.
Sweeny Todd is one of my favorite musicals. I'm curious to see if he does the role justice. The character can certainly be played "sinister sexy", as many classic villains have been portrayed.

Look up the movie "CryBaby".
Johnny depp rocks--no matter which persona he takes step into.

That would ruin it for me. He is only sexy when he is playing parts like Pirates of the Caribbean. In real life I don't find him sexy at all. I can't even picture him in a musical.

well if your a true fan of johnny depp you would know that he was in a band before acting and still is in a band he has also done a musical before he did 'cry baby' im majorly excited to see him do sweeney todd it looks fantastic
