I would report the ATM Bank Card as Stolen to your Bank right away. Just tell the person helping you at your Bank that you didn't make any of this transactions on this particular day.
I think that you can also get something Signed and Notorized at your Bank claiming that you didn't make these transactions at anytime. They can Reverse the Charges made to your Bank Account. They can Issue you a New ATM Bank Card.
Bank's are willing to help you out especially if you have been a Victim to Identity Theft.
Yes, she can use it to Debit Gas without your knowledge etc etc......

Debit cards work based solely on what money you have in your account. If your sister's friend did indeed steal your debit card, with password and all, she would only be able to use it IF there was money in the account. If indeed there is no money in your account, then she cannot withdraw against your account. Debit cards work very differently than credit cards.
If she had stolen your credit card, that would be an entirely different matter. Either way, you should report your debit card stolen straight away to your financial institution so that they can issue you a new account number, card and pin.
You can rest easier knowing, she cannot take money that is not there. Good luck and God bless!

If your card is missing, go on-line to you bank - where you got the card -- get a contact number (they have ppl 24 hrs a day) and CANCEL IT if it has disappeared. Yes most bank cards have maybe like a VISA logo and you can say "please put it thru as credit" and if there's money in the account, it will work...call the bank NOW and cancel it -- tell them it was stolen. THEY can track any transactions.

It is imperitive that you contact your bank immediatly and cancel your card!!! Most banks will allow you to overdraw your account using your debit card. Therefore if she has your card and your pin number (which she doesn't even need) she can use it. You can get the money back by disputing it with the bank but you need to let them know that it's been stolen RIGHT NOW!!!

If you don't have any money in your account, then of course she can't withdraw any, but if she uses it as a Visa, your account will be overdrawn. You need to call the bank immediately, and tell them your card was stolen, so they can cancel it and issue a new one. If there are pending transactions they can let you know. You are not legally responsible for these transactions, but you must notify the bank of any discrepancies in writing.

yeah she could very well do it. If you dont have overdraft protection on your account she could be able to take $500 out of your account.
With most banks it will only let you overdraw up to $500, but if she has your pin I would get it canceled right away..
If there are charges, and you know it could of only of been her, then you need to call the police and file charges for fraud. If you are sucessful in proving she took money out of your account, then they will reimburse you.
I sometimes overdraw money out of my account. Banks Will allow people to overdraw from their account because that way they can charge fee's for being overdrawn....

If there is no money in the account yet, then relax. Call your bank and report the card lost. They will reissue you another one and it will come with a different PIN #.

She can take money out if you qualified for overdraft. That could be as little as $100 or as much as $1000.
I wouldn't even bother going down to the bank. I would go find her. Sounds like she needs a job so I would put her to work right away.

If she did you can always monitor your account and then prosecute her when she takes your money.
But just call your bank and cancel the account and change your password.
Better safe then sorry
