face towards the water or have you back to the water?

Back to the water. I have never been able to do it the other way. It hurts my face.

I have my back towards the water. I like to keep my eyes open when I shower. I'm too clumsy to do it with my eyes closed.

As i'm soaping down, my back is toward the water. Often time i'll keels and let the water hit me head first.
