was it easy to get into in the first few pages? or did it take a while? is the storyline good?

I have not read the book but I am considering reading it. so please dont give anything away

Oooh it's soo good. it's about this guy whos in an insane asylum, and all these crazy people he meets. It's really easy to get started on and the storyline's amazing. If you're reading it for school or something, don't get cliffnotes. It ruins it. It's up there with Catcher in the Rye and To Kill a Mockingbird. It's one of my favorite books of all time.

i have not ready the story but I have seen the movie, and if they are the same (atleast the ending, which i think they are) then i can help. I thought it was a very good story because in the end, even thought the protagonoist fails, other people succeed because of him.

This is a cult classic.... excellent.... both the book and the movie. Enjoy!

Liked it, but it gets a little gross in parts.
