Many years ago they had a basic water rescue class where you had to learn to float with your clothing on (fully clothed). Is there still classes anywhere that still does something like this? I've found basic water rescue classes, but they no longer do the clothed swim function. What about water aerobics, do folks go clothed to those classes?

I took the recue one years ago as well and had to wear clothes over a bathing suit to learn how to take them off if you were drowing and they were weighing you down. With water aeroobics you wear bathing suits, not clothes.

When in your life will you actually be standing near deep water and witness a drowning while you are fully clothed? Probably 1 in a freakin trillion. If you are talking about yourself falling in deep water while fully clothed, well thats another 1 in a freakin trillion. Try doing something else with your time.
