"of" always means "times".
percent always means move the decimal to the left two places.
therefore:
34% of 100 = 0.34x100 = 34
cool?

Just multiply. Remember that "percent" mean per 100, so 34% = 34/100.
34% of 100 = 34/100 * 100 = 34

are you serious? do you know what percent even means?
take the number you what to find the value of in terms of the other number. (34, in this case)
divide the number you want to find it in terms of, (100, here) and divide it by the other number. (100 divided by 34)
now, multiply the number you get (0.34) by 100, as thats what per cent means, (out of a hundred), and hey presto, you got your maths home work done.
i'm still not telling you tho.
