I don't think you can say that a woman is pregnant within 3 weeks. It is too early to detect, however, there are some ways to detect pregnancy at an early stage such as Blood test by determining the level of HCG on the blood. Some home pregnancy test may not give the accurate result at an early stage especially when you are taking fertility pills or some vitamins that may affect your hormone. Typically, we say a woman is pregnant when she miss her next menstrual period. You may start counting from the first day of her last menstual period (LMP) to the day she missed her period.
For example, the first day of her last menstrual period (LMP) was on 06 Oct and if she has a 28 days cycle then she expects to have her next period on the 02nd of Nov. However, she missed her period and assuming that today is 08 Nov, you may say that she is 4 weeks 5 days pregnant. You start counting from the first day of her LMP. But in this early stage of pregnancy, it is difficult to detect the heartbeat of the fetus. However, you can go to your doctor and have a check, she may ask your girlfriend to have a blood test and urine test. Sometimes 5 days before her missed period. I got the Answer test from Walmart really inexpensive I think like 8 bucks or something and the awesome thing is that it comes with two so at 5 days if it comes back negative wait a couple of days and try again. I am now 6 weeks pregnant bought one of these test took it 4 days before my missed period and got a faint positive (because hcg levels which are hormones ) were really low but a positive is a positive. Same thing with my now 8 month old I tested 4 or 5 days before with dollar store brand and got faint positive but 9 months later here he is . You can buy tests at the store that will test for the pregnancy hormone 5 days before her next peiod. Women usually start a period 14 days after ovulation. So, you actually can find out in 2 weeks after ovulation and sex.
And if you want results super quick, go to the doc and do a blood test.

yep, you can find out in as little as 6 days depending on the test. I have 3 kids and the furthest along I've been when I found out is 3 1/2 wks.

The good thing about moderen technology is that now you can find out in a day or some times less. You can try and use the store bought test. But the best method is to go to a clinic or license medical facility that does the test.

The only way to find out is to get a blood pregnancy test done at a testing center. It will detect the levels of hcg. Either have her go to her ob/gyn or do a google search of free blood testing centers in your area.
It's more likely that a urine test won't be able to detect it this earlier on.

yeah it has been known that some woman can find out after they miss there period, it will come up on a blood test 2 weeks later. i didnt find out i was pregnant till i was 8 weeks tho, because i had a low hcg level and it wouldnt show up on any 5 home pregnancy test i did. depending on her hcg level, she can tell anytime really, if its neg, well she might need to wait another 3 weeks and do another one and get a blood test done. good luck and i hope everything goes well

I found out a few days before i was 4 weeks, use the tests that predict a few days earlier. good luck
