He has only lost 2 small fingers, 1 looks as though its starting to grow back. They first turned black then gray and then fell off. It looks like the long back ones are starting to turn black, but then again it might just be me. Is this normal or should i really have him looked at. Iv had him a little under a year. please help.

Do you let your dragon run free in the house from time to time? It's possible it may have had carpet fibers come loose and wrap around his toes, cutting off his circulation. Also, if he doesn't have enough humidity or clean water for soaking, it may have retained some of the shed skin around its toes and cut off the circulation. I took in a prehensile-tailed skink a nember of years ago that had lost 14 of its toes and had two others damaged from this (and it's owner's inattention to what was happening).

I'm not sure what that can be, because I only know the basics of reptiles and not water dragons. But, it's probably a fungal infection. You must get him to a vet before something really bad happens. I wouldn't attempt to do anything myself. and as I said before I'm only guessing.

Are you keeping it at right temps, if it doesn't shed properly, skin can stay on ends of limbs and cause them to fall off. Take it the vet to make sure, it could also be an infection.
