Chicken wire patch job
Holding up my melon
Too much imagination for my neck
I walk kinda’ funny
Like a bear that’s drunk on honey
What the heck…
The brain is all I’ve got,

If I forget to remind you of my habits
As I reach into the rabbit for my hat
Keep count of all your fingers
And the scent that lingers
Come along…
The show’s about to start,

Stand back…little kiddies
Don’t try this at home
I plan to play the bongos with head
The crescendo, Maestro please
Neapolitan Dance, Number Three
Here we go…
A boy, with flexible noggin,

And the crowd goes wild
As he demonstrates the style
Of banging with his head in perfect time
What a joy and what a pleasure
To the observe the very measure
Of a skull…
A heart…and a liver.

I am glad I have something to read for the early morning. This one goes fast, fast, fast. I had to read it like this anyway. I wonder which type of music you used for the rhythm.
I loved "If I forget to remind you of my habits / As I reach into the rabbit for my hat".

Is it to the "observer"? Fast, fast, fast...

the choice of stanza format is interesting, it flows as if it is meant to be spoken which fits nicely in with the concept. Personally, love poems leave a sappy taste on my palate; a flavor I do not care for. Hopefully I will soften and be able to write love poetry as well as conversations with demon. I suppose strength is found in recognizing weakness. You have found me in a pensive mood

A white, black and an hispanic guy all see a beautiful girl at the same time, so they started arguing about who she is going to go out with. The young lady noticed this and said "The one that uses words "liver" and "chese" in a most creative way, will get a date with me". She pointed at the white guy and not anticipating going first he said "I love cheese but I hate liver".. She pointed at the black guy, panicking he blurted out "I hate cheese, but I just love liver"... She pointed at the hispanic guy, the guy looked at the other two men and said "Liver alone, cheese mine!"

Skull, heart, and liver...you're holding a tribal ceremony, aren't you...

Chicken wire, bear, and bongo...this is a free-association, little nonsensical ditty to just relax from the 'hard' poetry, huh.

Okay...we all do it!

It must be Friday night.
Somewhere underneath all that is a poem.
