Compared to what? The propensity of honestly in politics is about as high a priority as taking care of our own in Louisiana after Katrina or having the war in Iraq end without additional casualties. Honesty and government is an oxymoron but it is true for all countries- some are just better hidden.

Have you ever observed OTHER nations?
It is GREAT here when honest comparisons are made.
That doesn't excuse the dishonesty, it should be eliminated, but that observation will put the problem in perspective.

Most funny of all is that, with all the dishonesty US Gov. has, they always blame or criticize other Govs of being dishonest!
That craves lot of nerves!!

Well, they can't share all of their secrets- if they did then sooner or later the countries that are trying to kill us would know them too, and then we would be, well, dead.
