Diana's death I think, it just never seems to end. 9/11 only seems to recur in the media a few times during the year.

I would say Diana's death. Sept. 11 seems to not be nearly talked about as much today but we are still getting conspiracy theories and more useless information about what happened to Diana more than a decade ago. Give it a rest. This was nothing more than a tragic accident.

Depends which side of the Atlantic you're on. Living in the UK, Diana's death was a media nightmare. Morning, noon and bloody night for months and months. No wonder I was sick of it! And now it's all being raked up again!
HOWEVER, I do know about the relentless media coverage they gave 9/11, how and why and all that crap. It's overkill. I'm glad I didn't have to see all that. The news was upsetting enough for me.

um, 9/11, of course. Just count documentaries. Just watch TV. Try searching on Amazon.com
Or do you live in England? In that case I don't know. But I'm guessing it's still 9/11.
The real question is between Princess Diana and Anna Nicole Smith. Do you Brits get the never-ending coverage of that?

It's definitely 9/11, thousands of lives were lost that day, and the repercussions led to 2 wars (Afghanistan & Iraq) which had the involvement of many nations. Global media had many aspects about 9/11 to cover for a long time.
