Why do you stick up for the Ultra Wealthy and the Corporations?
99% of Americans are Poor, Working Poor, Lower Middle Class, Middle Class, and Upper Middle Class.
If you make less then 3 Million a year you are not rich, So why do you stick up for them and not yourself?

Republicans often accuse liberals and Democrats of class warfare or being "envious" of the rich, but like you said, any Republican who doesn't make more than $3 million per year is voting against there own best economic interests and really, against the best interests of our entire nation. Why do they do this? Because the Republican party plays the victim and the saint at the same time. They say "Democrats even want to tax you when you die. Let's repeal the "death" tax." When in reality, it's called the ESTATE tax, but after numerous surveys and polls Republicans discovered that the vast majority of the general public do not have ESTATES, only the WEALTHY do. But EVERYONE dies, so let's call it the "death tax." They even had a slush fund that went to pay for beer and pizza so when anyone called it the Estate tax by accident, they had to put money in a jar. Then they say "The "LIBERAL" media is against Republicans." "The "Liberals" are against Christmas. But here we are, the Republican Party! The "Moral" party. Here to save the day and protect you from "Liberals" who are perverting our values, who would let gays marry, who hate Christmas and who would even tax you after you died." The truth is that Republicans are already taxing us to death by lowering taxes for the RICH, which shifts the tax burden onto the poor and middle class. The truth is that the Republican party have coopted Christianity and used it to get votes and to stay in power. The truth is that there is NO "war" on Christmas and many Liberals are Christians who are right to assume Jesus Christ himself was a "liberal." And are right to want an all inclusive society, not just one that panders to one religion. Because those Republicans / Christians who actually remember the past can see how Christianity worked out for Rome when it was co opted by a political party. The TRUTH is that if the Republican party presented their legislation, their agenda and their priorities to the American people TRUTHFULLY, NO American would ever vote to elect a Republican ever again...Unless they were a rich American.

I stand on my own and would like the opportunity to run a small business without the democrats/liberals wanting to tax me to death until I can no longer hold onto it. A lot of the wealthy even though I don't agree with a lot of their ways do provide jobs for people willing and able to work. Some people here in America classify themselves as poor when in truth they want a hand out and a free pass from hard working Americans who pay taxes so they can go and buy lotto tickets, alcohol etc and that's a fact. I have compassion for those in need especially the handicapped and the ill. I look at former trial lawyer Edwards and his $400 dollar haircuts and is a multi millionaire and John Kerry who could really care less about the poor and the downtrodden and ithe hypocricy just makes me sick. Most conservatives are from small towns trying hard to make a living without someone wanting to try and take it away from them.

Great Question......... I am a Conservative who will vote for McCain in November. I feel there are many reasons not to vote for Obama none of which are the false accusations of Obama supporters who contend that virtually everyone who doesn't support Obama is racist. I will not vote for Obama who I consider to be inexperienced + unqualified + unpatriotic + deceitful + racist. Admittedly, McCain is more Liberal than I would like him to be however; McCain is not inexperienced or unqualified or unpatriotic or deceitful or racist. In reality, it appears that more often a great many more support Obama because they are racists who will never support a white Hillary or McCain when they can support a black Obama. The Bottom Line is that as a Conservative I will vote for McCain instead of Obama because Obama was voted as the Most Liberal Senator in All of Congress by the National Journal. BTW - On the other side of the coin; I would not be voting for McCain either if he had been voted as the First , Second or Third Most Liberal Senator in All of Congress by the National Journal.

Are you poor? I may be broke but I am not poor. If the gov't would get out of my way, and quit taxing me to death, I Would be rich. All of the Dem candidates for Pres said they WOULD raise your taxes even MORE!!
If you work hard and become a billionaire, would you want the gov't to tak away 60% of your money...? I think not.
Some people stick up for the wealthy b/c without the top 10% of wealty Americans putting up 80% of the tax bill, who would pay for your handouts??

You're right. We need a politicians union- a real AFL-CIO kinda thing. 300K a year to be president when CEO's are banking 300 m is a real slap in the face to a working man.

We stick up for the free market. the only person that's keeping you poor, is you! nobodies stopping you from becoming rich or starting your own business. We encourage it but we don't believe that because you took a chance and became successful that you should carry a heavier burden. Everyone should carry their fair share of the burden regardless of success or lack there of.
