This really happened.
The other day my Mother-in-Law and I were mystery shopping HEB. We asked a young lady where we could find the mincedmeat. She took us to the meat department!!!!
Talk about a generation gap!!
Have you experienced anything similar?

I don't get around very much anymore so I do a good bit of shopping on-line. Thats always a mystery as well as a thriller in not knowing just exactly what you'll be getting. Mincedmeat can be a regional sort of thing as well as generational. I haven't had any good mincedmeat pie with a dollop of good booze in it in years, I die for some good old Shoo-fly Pie with the gummy bottom to it. That was a Lancaster County Pennsylvania Dutch speciality. Yum-Yum.

I had a friend that did that as a 2nd job. At first I thought it was duck soup. But then she told me she had to -
write reports.
Buy something and return it. (I hate returning items)
Complain about service
....among many other things I DON'T like to do.
It depended on the company and what they wanted checked out.

Sorry, that's my knowledge of mystery shopping...
What is HEB? Just curious :)

I agree that stuff does tend to be regional. Like head cheese around here and it is not in the dairy aisle it is meat product.
