Yes, its all an illusion, and just like in your dreams, when you realize it IS a dream, then you can take control and change the way things occurr. Though in the Real life 'Illusion' changes are a bit more complex because of the external factors involved, such as oh... rent, bills, and all of the other mundane practices that society has forced upon us as the way to "Live" your life.

there is no what if.. for the most part; everyone is living in a self-created ego-prison. all of the people i interact with on a daily basis are completely oblivious to what is going on around them. everybody is pretending. living lies...
i can count on one hand the people i have met in my life that were well aware of the reality around them. but you know, its how we are raised to be- caught in this lie that we are alone from one another.

If you haven't noticed already. Everything we sense, is not the same way they appear in reality. Your perception of a stone is far from what a stone really is. So you can basically say in life we see a perception of the "real". Kant was a big fan of this argument.

I have a dream; that the same stupid question won't be asked weekly and that I don't have to give the same answer. Which is; what can it possibly matter? Reality is what you perceive it to be and pointless musings accomplish nothing, unless one enjoys mental masturbation.
