Yes, personal experience is with Tarot. It's changed my life and made it more joyful.

"If there really is an afterlife, I'll bet the best way to contact it is through a plastic, mass-produced board game from Milton Bradley!" --Mad Magazine

A Ouija board is commonly used in divination and spiritualism, often by friends out to have some fun. Sometimes users become convinced they've been contacted by the spirit world. The board usually has the letters of the alphabet inscribed on it, along with words such as 'yes,' 'no,' 'good-bye' and 'maybe.' A planchette, a small 3-legged device with a hole in the middle or a pointer of some sort, is manipulated by those using the board. However, users often feel the planchette is moving of its own accord rather than responding to their own unconscious muscle movements (ideomotor action). The users ask a "spirit" a question and the pointer slides until it stops over "yes" or "no" or a letter on the board. Sometimes the selections "spell out" an answer to a question asked.

Some users believe that paranormal or supernatural forces are at work in spelling out Ouija board answers. Skeptics believe that those using the board either consciously or unconsciously move the pointer to what is selected. To prove this, simply try it blindfolded for some time, having an innocent bystander take notes on what words or letters are selected. Usually, the results will be unintelligible.

The movement of the planchette is not due to spirits but to unconscious movements by those controlling the pointer. The same kind of unconscious movement is at work in such things as dowsing and facilitated communication.

Of course the board is in English and the operators better know it. I wonder how well they work with a different language and alphabet. A Japanese board would be very crowded.

It depends on who is using them. If someone is gifted with the tarot, then yes. If someone is gifted with Ouija, then yes. Tarot and Ouija are like any tool, if someone doesn't know how to use them then they're not going to work very well.

My personal belief is that tools like Ouija, tarot, pendulums, mirrors, stones, runes, and prayer are all different ways of connecting to the highest spirit. Use what works for you.

If you are looking for someone to read tarot for you, ask around. Don't just go to any tarot reader because you are likely to get burned. If you can't get a good referral, look around for a mystical bookstore in your area and go ask them. They might be able to point you in the right direction.

If you want to try Ouija, go for it. Just remember that the messages you may get are not necessarily truth. But if you keep using it, you may get much better and more accurate with it. Like any tool, you have to practice with it to learn to use it properly and for it to be effective. Anybody can pick up a paint brush, but few of us can REALLY paint. And those of us who can paint, had to study and learn.

I had a Ouija board and it did not work for me. I think it could though. As for Tarot, I've had a reading before and it was awesome. There's nothing evil or satanic about any of it. It's all in how you use it and what you use it for. Don't be afraid of it. Tarot is a good tool for enlightenment.

It's not so much the tarot cards, it's the person reading the cards. The reader has to be able to "trance" into information that's available, and the cards are a "jumping off," place for the reader.

As for Ouija boards, I recommend staying away from them. I have heard too many stories of people who have invited dark energies into their lives with a Ouija board, and they couldn't get rid of them.

Be careful.

Tarot cards do but I've never used a Ouija board so I don't know about that.

Tarot cards - I have no idea

Ouija board - I don't really know either. I have tried them times before and they "seem" to work. But I wonder how much our nervousness causes us to move the Ouija without really knowing it. It has appeared to work for me, but I'm still skeptical.

Reading Tarot cards means coming face to face with yourself. Tarot cards help you define your position in life and help you find new directions in which to move forward. They are rather like seeing a therapist. In therapy, just recognizing your hopes, anxieties and fears is healing. Through Tarot cards, desires and needs, joys and troubles are being addressed. Feelings and experiences that might be difficult for you to express or communicate with words are seen more clearly and in greater detail with Tarot cards. We are able to confront those aspects in our life that are causing us anxiety or stress, and then once we identify those issues, we are then able to deal with those problems and move forward in our lives. You must remember that Tarot is the language of symbols. The symbols in the cards are a mirror for what is around us and what lies within us. The images on the cards act as reflections of the unknown information buried deep in our unconscious mind. Tarot cards work as a bridge between our conscious and unconscious existence. The cards act as revealers that the unconscious mind already perceives and then makes known to our consciousness. The special nature of Tarot cards is best displayed when you continuously work with them. Coming to an understanding of what your dreams mean when you sleep is best done when you look at a series of dreams, rather than a single one. The same holds true for the Tarot. Visiting this site frequently for readings, or even having a daily reading is one way of establishing continuity in understanding what forces are working in your life. As soon as you understand that, then you can work with those forces to make progress in your life, instead of letting them work against you.

I have seen many results from Ouija board users one is to become obsessed and another is to be possessed!

"The Ouija board is a vehicle which makes it easy for negative spirits and demonic forces to enter this plane of existence." cautioned that evil spirits or demonic forces often gain the trust of people experimenting with Ouija boards by answering several questions truthfully and providing predictions.

"Once they have gained the trust of their victims, it is easy for the entity to move in and take over either by strongly influencing that person, or by outright possession," .

People who are untrained and unsophisticated in the field of the paranormal and supernatural should never play with devices such as the Ouija board!

Don't Get Trapped with Ouija boards

If you want to communicate with Spirits work on your Psychic senses then do it the right way it may take longer however it is more rewarding : ) The easy way is not always the right way, you have to work for your rewards with knowledge

Love & Blessings
