I don't think it's a problem as much as people make it out to be.

Based off your avatar you look to be a black person.
You can go to special schools, get special scholarships for college and private schools and you get some other special treatments.

If myself a white person asked for an all white school or scholarship I'd be racist.

In the end, I don't think it's a problem at all. I hate who I hate, your skin has nothing to do with it.

Yes unfortunately. Racism will never die because it's posed in the media so much and it will get passed on from generation to generation. In some cases it's not as bad as it was back in the day but it still exist and will never die. There's nothing that can be done to get rid of it because there's going to always be that somebody who's going to make it worse for someone else reguardless what the situation is.

Clever. You asked for an opinion without really offering yours. Well, racism is one of those things that just won't go away. The younger generations seem to have no real problem with it, but the older folks are striving to keep it alive.

Yes, I think racism is still a problem, but it is definitely not as much of a problem as it once was

Yes, but as many are afraid to admit, the roles are truly reversed. Colored folks can say the N word but whites can't. sure, there may seem no wrong in that, but they can mock us, and not have any wrong in it. However, whites are percieved to still be the racists, so anything we say (Try yelling "immigration!" in texas!) is often called racism. Also, if you look into it, when we point out the flaws in others, in order for them to fix it, they simply call it racism in order to avoid effort. or when you try to explain the difference in Immigration and ILLEAGAL Immigration, they turn a deaf ear to your wisdom, even if it proves their innocence, and pull the racism card.

No..racism is not a problem. Yes, it does exist, but......

Racism is just a by-product of intollerance, ignorance, and poor upbringing. Those are the problem, and the problem reaches much farther than just racism.

Yes. Especially in San Diego (based on where I have lived). I have lived in San Francisco, Oakland, Stockton (al california), and Miami, FL. I never really faced any racial comments or anything until I moved to San Diego, CA. The other day my friend said her sister and law (black) went to school (8th grade) and one of the girls (white) told the teacher she had a gun in her purse. Then on the school bus, the driver had the music on and one of the students (white) said "Turn off the black music". I don't understand why these parents are teaching their children to be so ignorant. It's crazy

Yes, it definitely is a problem. Although it has gone underground for a while it has reared its ugly head with a vengenence. It is blatant and accepted as being politically incorrect or some other euphomism.
