That's entirely doubtful. So many people either: 1) are so in love with their own voices that they don't know that they suck or 2) fail to actually sing, rather they tend to squeek things out in a half-hearted way. It's rare to find someone who is pretty good who knows how to deliver.

Everybody is. Everybody being a collective term, like "the public". You would say, "The public is interested in the ongoing debate on health care reform", not "the public are interested". Get it?

First you would have to tell them what you wanted them to sing, then they would must likely sing along with you, it would sound good if they all sang in tune.

In a group it wouldn't be to bad but if I were to sing solo everyone here would run away screaming.
