[edit] Spearhead of the bowling attack
Many wondered how Lee would manage the role as the permanent leader of the pace attack upon the retirements of cricket greats Glenn McGrath and Shane Warne. However despite scepticism he has already shown sensational form in the role being awarded the Man of the Series in the inaugural Warne-Muralitharan Trophy against Sri Lanka in late 2007. In his first series as bowling figure-head he reaped a phenomenal 16 wickets in two tests at an average of 17.5 stamping himself as the man for the job. In the two-test series he also took out each Man of the Match awards.
Dude he is simply the best, i wonder why people say that akhtar is still the fastest, he was but brett lee IS the fastest bowler right now.
HE IS THE BEST n FASTEST N WILL REMAIN THE BEST n FASTEST !!

His ability to bowl fast yorkers, well disguised slow balls, swinging deliveries, and sharp bouncers made him lethal even on dead pitches He is also known as the bowler who broke the 100 mph barrier in cricket bowling history.100.2 mph.
