I think those two names sound GREAT together. However (and just to play 'devil's advocate'?) I would do a wee bit of research on a child psychology website to see how males feel about having carrying their father's first names? In my family, my brother resented being named for my Dad; felt like he could never live up to my Dad or his reputation, felt undeserving of the name - stuff like that. Only other downside is that Joshua is fairly common these days. That can be an asset or annoyance sometimes. But yes; I think the names sound great together :)

Joshua is a beautiful name!! It's actually my favorite name for a boy...and my brothers name as well. Joshua is a great name for a little boy AND a grown man.

I think that Joshua is a good name. But I like both of the names!
Baby's are so adorable and helpless... the naming is probably the hardest part after they have the baby!
-Good Luck to you friend!=)

I love it! Family names are great, and the boy has a lot of options when it comes to nick-names if he doesn't like "Joshua".
Good name!

I named my son with 2 middle names so I could get his Dad, grandfather and the name I liked in there too as the first name. Now that he is an adult he has dropped one of the middle names as his official signature but it is still there on the birth certificate. So there is another option for you if you just need to get the names in there but also have a name that you always liked too. Good luck and congratulations on your miracle bundle!
