Ron Paul has some good ideas. The problem is that he won't make it out of the primaries because he doesn't have the support of the Republican party. It's as simple as that. I don't mean any disrespect to Paul's supporters; I wish you the best of luck with what you're doing. But unless you guys really find a way to appeal to the Republican base that tends to show up at the polls on primary day, Paul just isn't going to survive the process.
The exact same thing happened to Dean in 2004 (he was doomed before "the scream"), and to McCain in 2000. These were both arguably good candidates who had a LOT of appeal among a certain segment of the population - unfortunately, it was not the segment of the population that went to the polls on primary day.
Anyway, again I do not mean to disrespect Ron Paul's supporters. I hope you'll prove me wrong. I'm a Democrat, so I don't have a dog in that fight but it would be nice to see a successful insurgency for once. Good luck!

Ron Paul is exactly what America needs today. His support is growing exponentially as more people understand what he is telling us and has been telling us for 30 years now.

Ron Paul is the ONLY candidate telling us the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Dr. Ron Paul’s record of principled integrity is unequaled by anyone in D.C. He would be our greatest president since George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.

If you are registered with a different party go to your state's website and change to republican and vote in the primary to elect Ron Paul. Go and do a yahoo search and enter your state and the words "voter registration." For example "Nevada voter registration"

National defense Make securing our borders against a possible terrorist threat the top defense priority. No one who seeks to do us harm should be allowed to cross the border into U.S. territory. After all, a defense policy should benefit those who actually pay for it: the American people. Re-focus the efforts of our military and intelligence services on locating those individuals who planned the terrorist attacks on the U.S. and who remain at large. It must be made clear that the United States cannot be attacked with impunity. When I voted for the authorization to use force against those who attacked us in 2001, I did not imagine that we would be getting bogged down for years in a nation-building exercise in Afghanistan while the perpetrators remain at large. Efforts in that part of the world should be exclusively focused on apprehending those responsible for the attacks against the United States. Push for a complete overhaul of U.S. intelligence requirements and capabilities. For far too long, Congress has operated under the assumption that simply spending more on the intelligence community would make it more effective and efficient. We have unfortunately learned the hard way that this is not a wise approach. I have consulted with numerous current and former intelligence professionals about the need to re-assess our intelligence community and how it should function, and I will take action to implement such reforms as president. Privacy and personal liberty Ron Paul: I have fought this fight for many years. I sponsored a bill to overturn the Patriot Act and have won some victories, but today the threat to your liberty and privacy is very real. We need leadership at the top that will prevent Washington from centralizing power and private data about our lives. Iraq It is now time to bring our troops home. We must return our focus to finding bin Laden and making sure that we can be prepared for any future threats against our national security.

Sure he looks like a President. The MONEY BOMB HITS IN TWO DAYS!!! Once that hit it will be hard to ignore. Secondly, this is a test for an independent run. He'' have more money then any Republican and will start to take liberals if they let him debate. If / When he turns independent, it will turn this this thing on its head! The money and support will grow by leaps and bounds. At the very least, he screws over a few "legit" candidates along the way.

I disagree with Ron Paul, but that`s just me. I must say though that you shouldn`t vote for a candidate simply based on how presidential looking they are. Some people, like my mother, did that twice with Bush because he wasn`t face or had a wrinkly face.

Besides Romney looks the most Presidential- he`s tall, not thin or fat, always has the most expensive suits and slicked hair. Plus his posture isn`t slouched liked Thompson or intimidating like Hillary. Ron Paul is similar but shorter and older. But like I said, don`t vote based on looks otherwise I`d nominate Jessica Alba.

Courtesy Flush: I'm ecstatic that you put RON PAUL at 10% in the primaries. In the past, you Neo-Cons have joked that we wouldn't even get 4%. ... Lol... you're denial is inspiring, and I thank you for the update!!

At least you admit he'll get a lot more than Yahoo tries to claim with 4.3%... bogus.

Ron Paul is awesome... I want him to be President.
Too bad our media portrays him to be a terrorist because he hates big money wasting government programs and the idiots that run them.
But yes I agree.

I agree with a lot of what he says except i think we need to kill alot more terrorists. Sorry but I don't think many people including him understand just what we all are dealing with. But as for his other stances I am impressed with alot of it.
