No.. you would not qualify for unemployment from the Army because the Army doesnt pay into the Unemployment Insurance program...... BUT..

You might qualify for assistance under the GI Bill, and medical expenses be handled through the VA....

Move into a friend or relative's basement and make an agreement to stay there Free of charge for 2 years. Or make arrangements with 1 person for the first 12 months and the 2nd one for the next 12 months.

You won't regret it and your child will not know the difference other than having mommy close by all the time.

In that time you should be able to raise your child fairly cost effectively without the pressure of so many bills. Remember, until your child starts school, you will have the uncertainty of where to leave your child if and when you return to work.

So in those 2 years, I would look for someone to common-law with. That should secure your next 2-3 years until your child starts school.

Once your child starts school, then you can start working close to full time again. Who knows, maybe by that time you'll be married to someone that can afford for you to stay home full time and raise your current and future family.

Chances are you won't qualify for unemployment since your separation was voluntary. Check with your state's unemployment office.

I would think that they would give you an unemployement check but to be sure, call them and make an appointment.
If they say no, apply for welfare benefits
Yeah it sucks but you and your unborn child need HEALTHCARE
