LOL Looks like someone's been using Internet shorthand a bit too long. What "names" do those letters stand for? To Jest, Just Juvenile and Jokingly Reduced? ;)
Give the kids actual names! LOL

Do they stand for anything or are they just initials? You really need names first, then shorten them as nicknames to TJ or JJ or JR. I'd be pretty annoyed if my Mum didn't give me a real name and I was just KJ!
How about:
Thomas Jay
Tyler James
Jack James
James Rowan
etc.

As nick names (i.e.Thomas James=TJ; Jack Jonathan=JJ) they work individually but I don't like them together. Too mixy-matchy and boring together though.

They are WAY too nicknamish as given names. They are okay as nicknames (even though I don't particularly care for them and are too much together) but not as first names, in my opinion.
How about using a first name and middle name that go with those initials? For instance:
Trevor Joseph
Julian James
Joshua Ryder, etc, etc.

Those are initials, not names. How about Theodore Jonas, Jacob Jeremiah, or John Richard? I'm thinking those aren't your style...

i gotta say no to those. they sound like trashy names that parents came up with at the last minute because they had to name their kid before leaving the hospital. put some thought into it for cryin out loud!!

TJ -> cute
JJ -> iffy
J.R-> not unless he is going to be a junior because most likely that is what people will assume.

They are cute for a little boy . . . but what happens when they become men with those names?
