The leafs have gone through ups and downs through the last couple seasons, but they don't seem to be getting anywhere. Who do you think the leafs should trade/fire?

Personally I can think of a few easy ones:
1)Ferguson; He has done very little good for the team. And he's done countless bad trades. Ex: Lindros, Allison, Raycroft, Francis, etc
2)McCabe; he can score....but thats not his job. He's terrible at defence, just look at his +/-
3)Gill; he's being paid a huge amount and is doing nothing to show for it

I disagree with your Hal Gill statement.

Gill is their best PKer

Gill makes and breaks plays using his size.

Of course everyone on our current roster is being overpayed, but thats JFJ's fault.

Get rid of JFJ before he does anymore damage. McCabe is a horrible D and that contract was even more nauseating. I haven't seen any performance out of Gill. Blake has like a million shots on goal, but can't score. We know trading anyone definitely isn't JFJ's style. I'd try to trade Sundin and Raycroft would be nice . . .

Management, meaning Ferguson's assistant and all the way up to the shareholders. Also, if Ferguson doesn't pull the trigger on trading Raycroft in a market that's starving for a goalie, that just shows he's a bigger idiot than people originally thought.

Go Leafs, by the way.

They should get rid of John Ferguson Junior NOW although it's already way too late. Leafs fans, if you are again hypnotized by the recent surge of the team, you are a complete fool. Remember: This team IS NOT GOING ANYWHERE without major rebuilding. Bring in a real GM instead of a wimp like JFJ would give the Leafs a chance.
