they let that lady go a lomg time ago. she was never lashed. this is not the same Muslim people as the "Osama" Muslims. They actually in some ways are crazier, but less dangerous b/c they lack sophistcation.
the "Osama" Muslims would have handled this woman very differently. they would not have had to have been offended. they would have just kidnapped her and made a video of themselves beheading her and posted it on the internet just b/c they saw her, and if you look back, it appears doubtful that the "Osama" Muslims would actually prosecute someone for the offense the lady was charged with. They never have in the past. They "fry big fish." Not small ones. Do not make the mistake of thinking they "terrorist's" that claim Islam are anything like the people of Sudan. They are a lot craftier. Bin Ladin in all actuality is probably a genius. It would be dangerous to under estimate him by grouping him in with the Sudanese.
the people in Sudan are just primitive. it is doubtful they could really even understand Islam. The "Osama" camp is intentionally twisting the religion for violence.
these are two completely different groups.

I am not really upset at the woman for doing what she did. I am not upset at the men who punished her.
Maybe she was not sensitive to the feelings of those men in Sudan. I personally think the crime she was accused of was silly. I know a child who has a small stuffed toy bear that he has named “Jesus”.
I feel sorry for the men that accused the woman of this silly crime. I think they take their faith far too seriously. I suspect Mohammad would wonder if these men worship the “idle of words”.
The “idle of words” being a state of mind where people worship their literal interpretation of written words without any consideration for what the words may mean. We must understand that language is an imperfect means of communication ideas and beliefs.
I can not really blame these men for this because when you are poor the only thing you have to look forward to in this life is the promise of a happy after-life. Karl Marx called religion “the opium for the poor” because it was faith that relieved the masses of their daily suffering. The difference is that people who get their high on religion tend to care not for the harm they cause because they think God has given them redemption for their acts.
People will cause great harm and suffering if they are convinced that God or their government says they are doing good for us all.

It made me feel so angry but I can't take it out on all muslims only the extreme ones. She was a middle aged women and to lash her is so sickening.

I guess its all about oil($) and insane attitudes. How do you handle people that are allowed to claw, kick and shove and be an *** all over the globe? How do you think they are going to act at home when given a chance?
