no, because saying "merry christmas" to a stranger or someone you don't know very well is a bit close-minded. You don't know whether they celebrate Christmas, Hanukah, Kwanza, Yule, or whatever. Personally, I'm not Christian, but I don't mind if someone says "merry christmas" to me because I know that in their mind, they're just being kind and wishing me the best. Either work, but I usually say "Happy Holidays" unless I know for a fact that the person celebrates Christmas. Do YOU think it's annoying? ;]

whilst the social engineers have achieved an outstanding pastime of ridding the Christmas holiday of any of it is non secular which ability, it continues to be recognized as a stat holiday in maximum countries and that i do no longer pay attention any of the non-Christians or atheists bitching with reference to the getting the smash day. I determine saying "Merry Christmas" isn't this style of undesirable ingredient for all people to declare because of the fact that a lot of human beings income from this holiday. whilst i are not getting disappointed at 'satisfied trip journeys' i'm no longer somewhat inspired with words like 'holiday' social gathering or 'holiday' tree, those statements are purely stupid.

No, because people are aware now that not everyone celebrates Christmas. It is politically correct to just say happy holidays.

No. Several major holidays are celebrated this time of year. So what's the problem with wishing people "Happy Holidays."

Not in the least. There are other holidays this season besides Xmas. It's not a matter of being PC, it's just acknowledging other events and people outside the "bubble".
