The 1883 NC nickel has a value of from about $4-$6 in lower circulated grades from Good to Very Fine. It is not a scarce coin and was heavily saved back then. the cents have more historic value than monetary one for they were minted during World War II. They have high mintage's and even in mint state only command a few dollars. The 1942 dime at least is silver and if in low grade is worth at least 8 times face value. Dealers seem to be selling average circulated one for $1.50 or so. A dateless buffalo nickel is used in making coin jewelry and the last ad I saw was a guy was paying 35 cents each, it would cost more to ship it than that. I would just hold on to them for the value only has one place to go and that is up as time goes by.

the 1941 penny, the 1943 penny and the 1945 penny are all going for one penny and the 1942 mercury dime is worth anywhere from 1-10 dollars and the buffalo nickel is anywhere from 5-50 dollars, depending on the date.

OK....

The best way to find out is take it to a coin collector/appraiser and have them take a look at them. It all depends on what condition they are in..

The Buffalo Nickle with no date is probably worth only a nickle, since it is not in mint condition..

I have a 1883 Indian head penny that they say is worth anywhere from 2-6 dollars...
