Look no one thought the Bulls are this bad this year, but trading for Kobe wouldn't make them a better team. As great of a player as Kobe is, the Lakers will take too much out of the Bulls that they will have no space to grow, and compete in future market. They should really make a push for post-players such as Gosal or J.O, shooting-teams never WIN championships.

It is not a matter of talent that the Bulls are lacking.
Players and coaches are in disarray, morale is low.
Factors affecting their performance right now are:
Scott Skiles is not in good terms with Ben Wallace
Ben Gordon, Loul Deng etc are not with performing as expected of them coz of the rumor that they are going to be traded..Management should at least try to reassure the players that there is no more trade negotiations with the Lakers, at least for now.

The bulls will be contenders remember last season they started below .500% but eventually they will live up to the hype.
